Bari Kothi has been the home for one of the most notable men in the region, Rai Bahadur Budh Singh Dudhoria and as such Bari Kothi has royalty in its DNA. Unfortunately because of the downfall of the region, the royalty and lifestyle that the house once exhibited remains just a story on the walls, Bari Kothi still understands hospitality and offers luxury and royalty in all its experiences. The Eco-system of the region has entirely changed not allowing Bari Kothi and its surroundings to be as it used to be 200 years back but Bari Kothi surely knows how to define Rustic Luxury.
Authenticity
Elephants do not roam around instead of cars in India, snake charmers are not found on the roads mesmerizing its citizens – India is wholly different and rural Bengal is unique in its own way – we offer that authentic experience. We strongly believe that guests who have decided to come this far to a fairly remote and rural part of India and more so, a forgotten part of India are looking for something authentic.
